Henk vd Mark and Dirk Brand with the Roadrunner Racing Team where the first privateer team to win the de 24hr endurance race for bikes at Le Mans in 1984. For this they used a Bakker rolling chassis, and a Suzuki engine.

This is an old advertising from Michelin showing the 24H of le Mans in 1984 when Henk van der Mark and Dirk Brand took the trophy with the RoadRunner Team on a private bike (Bakker Suzuki 1100GSX).

Wil Hartog

Wil was the first of the "big three" (Hartog, van Dulmen, Middelburg) who startet with racing. For a short period of time he even raced in the same team with Barry Sheene. This, and of coarse his own talent, would bring him far in the world championship.

The first motorrace victory was in Rockanje on the 125cc Honda CR93 in 1968. The next four races he also won in this class, and in this way he became Dutch Champion in this class. Wil became in 1970 part of the Riemersma raceteam. After this Wil became another 12 times Dutch champion in the international classes 250cc, 350cc en 500cc. In 1975 Wil became champion in the 250cc, 350cc and 500cc. The most memorable victory was the TT of Assen on 25 Juni 1977 in the 500cc on a Suzuki RG500.
